Billing and Plans
Admins can manage Codity plans, billing intervals, seat counts, and payment status from the Subscription page.
Choosing a Plan
- Go to Subscription.
- Click Choose Plan or Reactivate.
- Select a plan.
- Choose monthly or yearly billing.
- Choose the number of developer seats.
- Continue to checkout.
Payments are processed through Razorpay. After payment succeeds, Codity activates the subscription and refreshes the Subscription page.
Developer Seats
Seat count controls how many developers can use Codity services in your organization. Organization subscriptions can purchase multiple seats. Personal subscriptions use one seat.
If your team reaches the purchased seat limit, new developers may be blocked until an admin removes inactive seats or increases the purchased count.
Updating Seats
To change the number of purchased seats:
- Go to Subscription.
- Click Update Seats.
- Enter the new seat count.
- Confirm the update.
The page refreshes after the update and shows the new purchased and used seat counts.
Billing Status
The Subscription page shows the current billing state:
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Trial | Your organization is in a trial period. |
| Active | The subscription is paid and Codity services can run. |
| Pending Payment | Payment is not confirmed yet. Complete payment to activate or continue service. |
| Cancelled | The subscription has been cancelled. |
| Expired | The trial or paid period has ended. |
| Suspended | The subscription is not currently allowed to use paid services. |
Next Billing and History
When a subscription is active, the page can show the next billing date, seats to bill, and next billing amount.
Recent transactions are also shown on the Subscription page so admins can verify payment history.
Cancelling
Admins can cancel an active subscription from the Subscription page. After cancellation, Codity services may stop when the current billing period ends or when the subscription status changes.
If the organization needs service again, an admin can return to the Subscription page and reactivate or choose a new plan.
